Mes projets s’articulent autour de matériaux industriels courants, en particulier ceux liés à la manière dont nous produisons, utilisons et éliminons les objets. Je réinvente ces matériaux par le biais de l’abstraction, en mettant l’accent sur leurs propriétés physiques. J’utilise des objets recyclés tels que le polystyrène, le carton et la corde pour explorer les contrastes entre des notions telles que la beauté et le danger, le confinement et la liberté, ainsi que l’ordre et le chaos.

Au lieu de masquer l'origine de ces matériaux, je m'attache à mettre en valeur leurs textures et leurs surfaces, permettant ainsi à leurs qualités esthétiques de coexister avec leur signification sous-jacente. En travaillant de manière intuitive sur l'équilibre, la structure et la forme, je cherche à rétablir un lien entre ces matériaux fabriqués par l'homme et le monde naturel, offrant ainsi aux spectateurs l'occasion de réfléchir aux systèmes qui génèrent, utilisent et, finalement, jettent ces matériaux dans nos vies.

My projects involve common industrial materials, particularly those that relate to how we produce, use, and dispose of items. I reimagine these materials through abstraction, emphasizing their physical properties.. I utilize repurposed items such as Styrofoam, cardboard, and rope to examine the contrasts between aspects like beauty and danger, containment and freedom, as well as order and chaos.

Instead of obscuring the origins of these materials, I focus on showcasing their textures and surfaces, allowing their aesthetic qualities to exist alongside their underlying significance. By working intuitively with balance, structure and form, I aim to reestablish a connection between these human-made materials and the natural world, providing opportunities for viewers to contemplate the systems that generate, utilize, and ultimately discard the materials in our lives.
