I am an artist currently based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.  I apply my knowledge of design received from a degree in Landscape Architecture.  My pursuit in art is to explore various mediums and materials.  Through experimentation I continually find creative ways to express various moods and emotions.  I enjoy acrylic abstract painting and assemblage using found objects or unusable materials lying around the house.  This could be styrofoam, wire, rope, electrical wire-anything that looks interesting and has potential.  My work is sometimes straight forward,  sometimes whimsical and many times unexplainable.   Working passionately every day, I hope to create works that can be aesthetically examined and approached as unique realities.

I moved to Montreal about 30 years ago.  For many years I had a gardening business where I applied design principles to my work.  Through the use of colour, texture and plant shapes I made designs for both residential and commercial properties.  This included whole properties, individual planting beds, annual flower pots, winter pot decorations, etc.   Without trying, a lot of my art work now seems to give a feeling of a landscape.

I have pursued a spiritual search all my life, coming across many ways and traditions.  Starting with the 4th Way work to becoming a whirling dervish, I finally settled into a Sufi order of Love, Compassion and Service.  I hope to have those influences be translated into my art.
